Do we carry every style and size you see online in our stores?

No. Many of the styles you see online are there because we are able to drop ship many styles from the manufacturer straight to your door. There is no extra fee for drop shipping an item. If you do see something online and you would like to try it on at one of our stores, please call and we'll be glad to help you.

What size boot or shoe do I order?

Ordering the right boot size is critical for comfortable feet. It is suggested that you order the size most common with the fit of other boots, and not tennis shoes as tennis shoes can run a size big. In the case of work tennis safety shoes, order your tennis shoe size. When ordering footwear, order the proper width for your foot. It is sometimes believed that ordering a wide size will help with the comfort of your feet in a safety toe shoe or boot. However, this can cause proper support to be inadequate for the foot and arch, causing early fatigue and overall discomfort. Incorrect sizing can also cause a shoe or boot to break down prematurely.

Bib Overall vs. Jeans and Pants Sizing

Bib overalls fit differently than jeans and pants. Many customers believe you order the same size for both items. However, if ordering an insulated bib overall you should go up two sizes in the waist (36 jean size should order a 40 insulated bib size) and down one size in the length (32 jean length to a 30 insulated bib length). This is because you want insulated bibs to fit over clothes, so you add extra room, but you do you want them to drag on the ground and get wet, so you make them a bit shorter. In unlined bibs you order only one waist size larger, since a bib hangs from the shoulders and does not rely on a waist to hold up the garment.

Why you should care for your boots!

Properly cleaning and conditioning leather work boots and shoes is crucial to extend the life of the leather. Many work environments cause a drying out of the leather which would cause premature breakdown or cracking, especially in flex points. Even the stitching throughout the boot or shoe can dry and get wet over and over, which causes a breakdown of the fiber in the stitching. This can cause the stitching to come undone or pop out if not conditioned and cleaned. Cared for boots last the longest! We offer many different types of cleaners and conditioners!

Yes. Cotton socks can kill your boots.

Cotton socks are comfortable when they're dry, but when your feet naturally perspire and your socks get wet, they're terrible for the liner of your boot or shoe. Wet cotton socks are abrasive to a liner, causing premature breakdown and discomfort. Wicking socks are more expensive, but they really do extend the life of the inside of your boot. Plus, your foot stays much more comfortable throughout the day.

How can I track my order?

eeworkwear.com sends an automated confirmation of your order which will contain your order number. If somehow you do not receive an email with your tracking number, simply email your request to us at customerservice@eeworkwear.com with your order number in the subject line. We offer UPS and US Postal shipping services.

How can I change my order or add to it?

Once you've submitted your order, it's important for you to know that in-stock items are generally processed for shipment within 24 hours or on the next business day if the order is received on a weekend.

Contact our E Edwards Work Wear customer service dept. by email or phone (913-262-2350) to request a change in your order. If the order has not been processed, we'll gladly make adjustments to ensure your order is processed as you intended!

What is your back-order policy for items that are out of stock?

In the event an item is temporarily out of stock when you place your order, we will check on deliverability with our manufacturer and contact you with a ship date if it can not ship immediately. Note that we keep any items on order, unless you instruct us otherwise or the manufacturer informs us the item is not available within a reasonable timeframe.

I am purchasing items as a gift, and the recipient shares an email address with me. What info will the confirmation email contain?

E-mail order and tracking requests will contain information about individual items in your order. You may want to inform the gift recipient not to open the confirming email, so that you may keep it a surprise!

Can I place my order by email?

For your security, do not at any time include your credit card number or any other sensitive customer information in an e-mail to us, or any other merchant. If you do not wish to use our secure server, you can always place your order by phone at (913) 262-2350 or by fax at (913) 272-0626.

When will my credit card be billed?

Your credit card will first be checked for proper authorization with your local bank. When your order is processed for shipment, it is billed as processing is completed.

Will I be charged sales tax on my order?

Currently we only charge sales tax on orders shipped to Kansas or Missouri addresses, as this is where we have retail brick and mortar stores located.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, there is a link on the login page for your account. Simply fill out the form and your password will be e-mailed to your inbox.

How do I change my email address or password?

If you have a different email address than you previously used to shop on our site, simply create a new account by clicking the login button and filling out the form using your most current and accurate information.

What is your policy for returned checks due to insufficient funds?

Checks returned for insufficient funds may charged a $50.00 service fee.

What is a CCV number and why do you require it for purchase?

CCV stands for Card Code Verification. The CCV number is a three or four digit number on your credit card, in addition to your account number. This number was created to help protect you (and other merchants) from credit card fraud. Essentially someone must have actual possession of your credit card to make a purchase online/over the phone. We require the CCV number on credit card so that someone with just a credit card number is unable to use it. This number is not stored on-line or retained by eeworkwear.com. The CCV is found on each of the following cards in these places:

Visa: The CCV is a three digit number on the back of your Visa card. The full credit card number is reprinted in the signature box, and at the end of the number is the CCV.

MasterCard: The CCV is a three digit number on the back of your MasterCard. The full credit card number is reprinted in the signature box, and at the end of the number is the CCV.

Discover: The CCV is a three digit number on the back of your Discover card. The full credit card number is reprinted in the signature box, and at the end of the number is the CCV.

American Express: The CCV is a four digit number on the front of the card above the credit card number on either the right or left side of your Amex card.

Was my credit card charged twice or overcharged?

We bill your credit card as your order is processed and shipped. Please note that when we receive your credit card order, the amount required for purchase must first be authorized by our credit card payment processor. Authorization effectively reserves the amount of your purchase on your credit card account, but in no instance does authorization create a duplicate charge to your credit card account.
